Moisturizer? What's that? That was me in 2017.
My skincare routine needed tending to. I used Inkey's List Sacylic Acid cleanser, toned my face with whatever was affordable, and maybe applied sunscreen. I remember watching LABeautyologist and many makeup and skincare influencers share tips on how to care for your skin. The tips included a 10-step routine. Well, not 10 steps but it was close to it. Like many viewers, I tuned in and researched products that worked for my skin. My Sephora cart reached over $500 and I had to be honest with myself.
Was I spending $500 on products? No.
Did I want glass skin? Yes.
Did I experience dry skin? Yes.
So, I prioritized.
Throughout my skincare journey, I always prioritized cost over quality.
But in the beauty industry, quality is key and addressing dry skin is paramount.
In 2023, my first introduction to moisturizer came in a cute light blue container. I began using a moisturizer from Neutrogena to protect my skin barrier. This moisturizer was perfect for my skin. It was hydrating and it complimented the sunscreen I was using. That was my criteria for a moisturizer.
But I started thinking...
Was I prioritizing the health of my skin?
Years later, would my skin thank me for the care I was giving it?
The answers were no.
I needed to invest in my skin.
I researched vitamins and minerals that supported skin health and skin care. Common ingredients were Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and collagen. Water was the hydrating ingredient. Almond oil and avocado oil were moisturizing. So, I thought.... Why not combine ingredients?
That's how Maison Agodi's Moisturizer was born.
In each jar of Maison Agodi Moisturizer, there is a soft texture of shea butter filled with Vitamin E, collagen, almond oil, and jojoba oil.
Catered to your morning and night routine, Maison Agodi's Moisturizer is a perfect moisturizer to soothe, moisturize, and melt into your skin.
